Ontario, can assist integrators, equipment suppliers and
employers with Health and Safety compliance
requirements, including Rapid Response Engineering for
Stop Work orders or Work Refusals, Pre-Start Health and
Safety Reviews (PSR) and Engineering Safety Reviews (ESR).
C&R Engineered Solutions Inc. has extensive experience
in the design and construction of automated and robotic
manufacturing cells and associated safety compliance
requirements.
Engineering Support
Health and Safety issues are receiving significant
government attention with increased inspections and
significant convictions and fines. The Ontario
Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and
Regulations requires that a Professional Engineer review
the safety compliance of certain new or modified
equipment before start-up, or by order of a Ministry of
Labour Inspector. Significant corporate and personal
liability can be incurred by employers, officers,
directors, supervisors and employees for non-compliance
with these regulations. C&R Engineered Solutions Inc.
has extensive experience in evaluating the safety
compliance of technically complex equipment and can also
provide risk assessment and engineering support for
remedial activities where required. C&R Engineered
Solutions Inc. is authorized by Professional Engineers
Ontario (PEO) to provide Pre-start Health and Safety
Reviews (PSR) as required by OHSA Regulation 528/00. C&R
can also assist clients with the Lockout-Tagout,
training and technical documentation required to comply
with OHSA, OSHA, and applicable CSA and international
safety standards for sophisticated machinery and
equipment.

with the Gowlings OHSLaw group for Engineering Services
and Pre-Start Health and Safety Reviews.
